Product Description

RADIANT SILVER™ TEG 200-MS1 is a one-side chemically treated premium silver metallic BOPET film. The metallized surface is extrusion over-coated with a high-melt copolymer bonding layer for thermal lamination with paperboard and cardboard.

Applications and Conversion

  • Chemically treated surface is compatible with UV Offset, Offset as well as UV spot coating and foil stamping
  • Product designed as an overlaminate film for book covers, paper bags, premium cosmetic and beverage boxes
  • For two-side laminations, allow enough time to cool between lamination operations
  • Application-specific testing is recommended for suitability for all coating, printing and laminating operations

Availability

TEG 200-MS1 rolls are wound with adhesive side in; TEG 200-MS2 rolls are wound with adhesive side out Alternative film thicknesses are available subject to negotiation

RADIANT SILVER™ TEG 200-MS1 family of films comply with the applicable FDA and European legislation for most applications involving direct food contact. For specific applications please request Coatall’s Declaration of Compliance document.

Storage

Store in a dry (preferably < 50% RH) location at 2°C (35°F) to 27°C (80°F).
